Our rugs are 35mm thick memory foam

Yes, all of our tatami style rugs come with a PVC nonslip backing making it safe for wooden & tiled surfaces. We do recommend checking the floor after a few days of using the rug, as lacquers used on some wooden floors & some finishes on tiles can react to the PVC non slip dots but this is very rare.

Times vary depending on whether you ordered an in-stock item or a pre-order or out-of-stock item. For in-stock items, we aim to ship the same day we receive your order & we ship via Australia Post. Most orders are delivered between 3 & 10 days. Pre-ordered items will be shipped as soon as they arrive & can be 5/6 weeks depending on where in the delivery cycle your order was placed. Out-of-stock items will ship as soon as they arrive back into stock.

Our Tatami rugs include a spill & stain resistant treatment to the main face of the surface. Spills should be blotted immediately using a dry white paper towel or cloth. Do not rub the spill as this may drive the spill further into the fibres. Stains should be blotted as above & then blotted with a slightly damp paper towel or cloth. Vacuum the rug regularly to remove loose dirt & dust.

When first opened, the rug may appear creased and flat due to being compressed for packaging. Don’t panic, this is normal. Please allow a few hours & sometimes a couple of days for your genuine memory foam rug to fully decompress & reach its full thickness. Full results can, in rare cases, take up to a week. You can use your hands to smooth creases and groom the fibres to achieve a smooth finish. We recommend keeping children off the rug until it has reached its full thickness.
